Mr. Fenster is a consulting actuary for Tepfer Consulting Group, Ltd., an actuarial, administrative and employee benefit consulting firm in Northbrook, Illinois. Prior to joining Tepfer Consulting Group, Ltd. in 1995, Mr. Fenster was associated with Tepfer & Spitz, Ltd. Previous employment included actuarial work in insurance, employee benefit consulting and accounting.

During over 20 years working as an actuary, Mr. Fenster has spent his last 15 years as a consulting actuary. He is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary. He holds a B.B.A. degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin.

During his career, Mr. Fenster has served as a consultant to the employee benefit plans of many private employee pension funds and specialized industry groups. In his current capacity, his primary responsibility is the management of the firm’s existing business as well as serving as employee benefits consultant to small and mid-sized companies. Mr. Fenster serves as a primary contact for more than 100 firm clients ranging from small medical practices to plans maintained by larger manufacturing and heavy industry.

Mr. Fenster is responsible for the actuarial compliance for the Company. In this capacity he maintains the firm’s actuarial calculation and report preparation software.

As a key member of Tepfer Consulting Group, Ltd.’s consulting team, Mr. Fenster is also responsible for the initial design and general implementation of specialized coordinated retirement programs for clients of the firm who maintain multiple retirement plan arrangements. Mr. Fenster’s additional responsibilities include maintenance of the firm’s retirement benefit programs and management of day-to-day work flow for all clients.
